MI House Works On New Road Funding Proposal

$500-million could be on its way from Lansing to help rebuild Michigan roads and bridges. Representative Al Pscholka says the state House is working on capturing the money through a new proposal which would raise the funds without raising taxes.

The Stevensville Republican says the money would come out of the budget in October.

The House returned for its spring break Thursday. Last month the legislature made over $100-million available to Michigan communities for emergency winter road maintenance.
