Keeping Your Digital Life Safe And Private

The massive leak of celebrity photos and videos ranging from G to X-rated over the weekend is putting a spotlight on how to stay safe online. Lake Michigan College computer networking and security instructor Charlie Olszewski has some tips to keep the things you want to remain private - private.

He recommends changing your passwords at least every six months.

Among the victims were St. Joseph native and supermodel Kate Upton and her boyfriend, Detroit Tigers pitcher Justin Verlander. Upton and Oscar-winner Jennifer Lawrence are threatening legal action, and the FBI is investigating the largest celebrity hacking ever. Apple said Tuesday that the leak was a "very targeted attack on user names, passwords and security questions" and added there was no actual breach of its iCloud storage system.
