The Hartford Public Schools district is looking for a new superintendent. Mike Hallgren has been doing that job along with his duties as the district's business manager, but says there is enough work for two people as he's been doing both jobs since January 2009. The school board last night approved a restructuring plan to have a new superintendent in place by July 1. Hallgren has spent the past three decades as the business manager for the district, and says that's where he can do the most good. The Michigan Leadership Institute has been hired to head up the search for a new superintendent.
