Plaintiffs in the federal lawsuit that seeks to stop development of Harbor Shores have filed a motion for an order to stop all construction at the site following an incident on Monday. Three protesters were arrested when they allegedly tried to block crews from removing some trees...and LuAnne Kozma, Michigan Director for Defense of Place, an environmental action group, says that the tree removals show Harbor Shores hasn't been upfront about its intentions:
The restraining order the plaintiffs are seeking would stop all construction at the site until a decision has been issued in the federal suit. A judge on Wednesday set the hearing on their request for October second.
