In an effort to halt continued revenue loss the United State Postal Service is seeking to stop Saturday delivery. The announcement was made Wednesday by the Postmaster General. Media Relations Spokesperson for the Greater Michigan District Postal Service Sabrina Todd said the move would save the USPS roughly $2-billion annually.
When asked if a possible five-day delivery week may someday turn into just four, Todd says the district is only concerned with getting past the current proposal, what may happen passed this is for the Postmaster to think about.
