The city of South Haven is expecting two grants totaling more than $882,000 for land purchase and infrastructure expansion. One grant for $665,000 will fund the purchase of four parcels along Monroe Boulevard to preserve the view of Lake Michigan for the public. City Manager Brian Dissette says the land is privatly owned but not for long.
