Governor Snyder Questions Why Federal Government Struggling With Sequestration



Economists are worried about the effects of the sequester on the overall financial picture for the country. $85-billion in automatic cuts are set to take effect Friday, in what both the White House and Congress agree are cuts that were never designed to happen. Governor Snyder spoke to C-Span about the standoff between President Obama and House Republicans, and said his gubernatorial colleagues have had tougher problems to tackle.

Snyder made the comments during an interview this week during the National Governors Association Conference. He said on all levels, government needs to be more efficient and do better to serve citizens.
