GM CEO Mary Barra Apologizes For Ignition Switch Problems, Fires 15 Employees



General Motors has fired 15 employees due to the ignition switch problems that prompted the recall of 2.6 million older small cars. CEO Mary Barra made the announcement this morning when she released the automaker's internal investigation into the problem, and why it took over a decade to come to light.

Barra admitted GM let their customers down and said the "Cobalt saga was riddled with failure."
