Former Readiness Center Volunteer Kate Upton Gives Back

A former volunteer at the Readiness Center in Benton Harbor has donated $40,000 dollars through the Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund. That former volunteer is 20-year-old St. Joseph native and supermodel Kate Upton. Upton worked for the Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund last September during its annual charity drive and named the Readiness Center as where she wanted the money she raised sent. The firm holds the Charity Day on September 11 every year to honor the more than 600 employees it lost in the 2001 terrorist attacks. Upton spent time as a volunteer at the Readiness Center two years ago.
