There are no injures to report after a fire that happened in St. Joseph Tuesday afternoon. At 5:27 p.m. the St. Joseph Fire Department received an alert of a structure fire at 612 Winchester. Captain Randy Schrubba says upon arrival smoke was seen escaping the attic area of the house.
The upstairs tenant was not home at the time, it was the woman who lives downstairs that called 911, she came home saw smoke and heard the smoke alarm going off. Schrubba says there is no estimate on the cost of damage.
