A four-month old mystery in southwest Michigan and northern Indiana may be solved. A fisherman found a woman's body in Lake Charles in Porter, Indiana on Sunday morning, near where police found the abandoned car of Dr. Teleka Patrick on December 5th. Her family has issued a statement saying they have been informed the body is believed to be the missing 30-year-old and they are awaiting official confirmation from an autopsy. That procedure is expected to take place as early as Tuesday. Dr. Patrick was believed to be driving to Chicago after leaving Kalamazoo. She has ties to Berrien County, as her sister attended Andrews University.
