The Republican presidential primary process has gone on longer than some observers would have predicted, as the latest polls show support for Newt Gingrich and Mitt Romney is very close in the Florida. What happens from here is just about anyone's guess, according to Doctor Peter Wielhouwer, a Western Michigan University associate professor of political science. He says that Florida's large number of delegates make the state a serious prize:
