Next week will be the Eat Local Challenge at Andrews University in Berrien Springs. On Tuesday, the university's Dining Services will serve up a lunch made up of only locally grown produce. Nothing in the meal will come from farther away than 150 miles, and providers include farms and bakeries from Berrien Springs, Buchanan, Paw Paw, and Holland. The meal will be offered at Andrews U from eleven AM to two-30, and the public is welcome to try it. The cost is seven dollars and 75 cents. The idea of the Eat Local Challenge is to promote healthy food choices.
