Benton Harbor City Commissioner Marcus Muhammad believes the Michigan Court of Appeals is close to ruling on whether the Benton Harbor Mayoral Recall Election will be on the November ballot. At Tuesday's City Commission meeting Muhammad said the ruling is "going to impact the smallest city in the state of Michigan all the way to the largest, and Benton Harbor is in the center of it." Berrien County Clerk Sharon Tyler is asking the court of appeals to reverse the ruling by Judge John Dewane putting the recall election on the November ballot. She filed a motion asking for a decision by September 8.
