Berrien Springs Oronoko Township Police Chief Under Investigation

The Oronoko Township Board is set to receive a report next Tuesday on the Berrien Springs-Oronoko Township Police Department. Chief Milt Agay is on voluntary leave, and has been off the job since the middle of last month. Township Supervisor Mike Hildebrand couldn't discuss the details of what's going on.

Agay has been chief for nearly seven years and has been with that department for 14 years. His attorney, Genie Eardley, believes the township plans to fire him next week.

Listen:

Eardley says Agay has done nothing wrong and is instead under fire for trying to combat what he saw as illegal activity being done by the township.
