Wednesday will be one of the biggest nights of the year for kids - Halloween. Berrien County Sheriff Paul Bailey has put out a list of safety tips for parents and kids, such as having a flashlight, making sure the costume fits, staying away from houses with no lights and staying out the street whenever possible. There is also the issue of pets.
Trick-or-treat hours are set by each municipality in Berrien County. If you need to know for certain what time you either can have your little ones out there or how long you need to be at the front door handing out treats, call your city hall or village or township office.
