Benton Harbor Murder Suspects in Court Tuesday



The victim who survived Friday night's shooting in Benton Harbor is slowly making a recovery. Officers were called to 791 Ogden Street at 11:30 p.m. Friday where they found two victims with multiple gun shot wounds. 35-year old Heather Poe of Benton Harbor was rushed to Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph for treatment, 25-year old Gary Alilovich of Niles was pronounced dead at the scene. Police Division Captain Danial Unruh says Poe was in critical condition.

There were two shooters, they are brother and sister. 28-year old Jovan Davis of Benton Harbor and 19-year old Ashley Davis of Grand Forks, North Dakota, shot both victims with the same gun. Both siblings are lodged in the Berrien County jail on multiple charges, their arraignment will be Tuesday.
