A Benton Harbor man who was first declared a person of interest in the death of a Kalamazoo woman, has now been charged with her murder. The vicitim is 52-year-old Rita Williams. She was found dead Sunday in her North Church Street home in Kalamazoo. The accused is 28-year-old Jermal Clark of Benton Harbor. Police say they've known him for some time because of a long history of domestic violence and drugs. Right after Williams' body was found, Clark was ID'd as the last one to see her alive. Police picked him up for questioning, and decided through that process to charge him with murder.
