BHAS Explore Options Regarding Make Up Of Snow Days



Students in the Benton Harbor school district may be sad to hear that the possibility of extending the current school year is in the works to make up for lost time due to the amount snow days. Superintendent Dr. Leonard Seawood says using extra Professional Development Workdays is a partial-option.

Though the amount of days may not be met, the district seems to be on pace with meeting the 1,098 hours of required contact time with students. Seawood and district officials planned a meeting for Wednesday to discuss their options further.
