Andrews University Advancing In Poll Of Vegan-Friendly Colleges

There is apparently a competition to find out which college campus is the best for vegans, and Andrews University is sitting towards the front of the line. The Berrien Springs institution says it's moved on to the third round in PETA's "Most Vegan-Friendly Campus" poll, fitting right in with the campus being vegetarian since the school was founded more than 135 years ago. PETA says the number of vegetarians and vegans on college campuses has risen by 50-percent. Andrews University is in the Small U.S. School category in the competition, and voting for this round will wrap up on the Internet on October 30, with winners announced on November 15.
