Allegiant Air Flight Makes Emergency Landing In Fort Wayne

Allegiant Air flight 959 was supposed to take 149 passengers from South Bend to Punta Gorda, Florida this afternoon. They got to Fort Wayne. The flight had to make an emergency landing, but the air carrier has not said what caused the situation as yet. All passengers and crew members were safely evacuated after the plane landed around 1:30 p.m. Allegiant officials say they are working with local, state and national authorities on the situation.
