Niles Police and the Berrien County Sheriff's Department are looking for a man who robbed a Chemical Bank branch in Niles around 11:30 this morning. Berrien County Sheriff Paul Bailey tells us the suspect held up the branch on Main Street in Niles. He says the county bomb squad was called out.
A robot was used to check out the suspicious package in the lobby of the bank. The alleged thief remains on the loose, they are white, approximatly 35-45 years old, 5-foot-5 to 5-8 in height, roughly 220 pounds. Cash rewards are available for information leading to the arrest of the subject responsible.
