Admiral Gas Stations Hit In String Of Robberies In Niles

For the fifth time in just two months, an Admiral gas station in Niles has been hit by an armed robber. The latest happened Tuesday at the gas station on Chicago Road, which had been held up on October 15, October 20, and December 8. Niles Police say an Admiral station on Oak Street was robbed Monday just after midnight. In four of the heists, a man has entered the store, pointed a gun at the clerk and ran off each time with cash. There were two gunmen in the October 20 robbery. In each case, the suspects have managed to stay well covered to the point where police cannot tell from surveillance footage their races or the possible age range. Every time, the thief and thieves have worn gloves, hoods and cloths covering their faces.
