AEP Easement Plans in Lincoln Township Not Going Over Well with some Residents



American Electric Power has easement plans for parts of Lincoln Township, and certain residents are not happy about this. AEP plans to put up new and taller metal electric poles in a stretch from Gast Road to a substation along Rockey Weed Road. Township Resident Dan Loikits is OK with the new poles but not pleased how AEP is dealing with the residents affected.

Township Supervisor Dick Stauffer says he will ask AEP to meet with the public before any plans are made.

Stauffer says the township's soccer park will be affected by the easement. AEP representatives say a meeting with public is planned for sometime in March.
