A Man is Dead After Lee Township House Fire

One person is dead after a fire in Allegan County. Monday night at about 8:00, a house on 112th Avenue near 50th Street in Lee Township became engulfed in flames. Fire fighters found the resident, 69-year old Joe Sejud [[SU-jed]] dead inside. Lee Township Fire Chief Nelvin Deweerd says an electrical cord connected to a heater may be the cause of the fire.
