Michigan State Police seized over 50-thousand dollars worth of heroin in a traffic stop on I-94 in Van Buren County on Thursday. Troopers say that they had pulled over a vehicle for a routine traffic violation near Lawrence, and during a subsequent search, found two hidden compartments in the car with the drugs in them. Both of the vehicle's occupants -- a 22 year-old man form Chicago, and a 20 year-old man from Ypsiltani, Michigan -- were arrested and lodged in the Van Buren County Jail. The investigation is ongoing.
