The American Red Cross of Southwest Michigan is providing shelters for residents whose homes are flooded in Berrien County. American Red Cross of Southwest Michigan Director Breeze Ettle tells WSJM News they’re teaming up with the Berrien Community Foundation and the United Way of Southwest Michigan to raise money to help local residents.

“The funds will be collected or our response efforts and for the recovery, and 100% of those funds wil be donated to the American Red Cross,” Ettl said.

Ettl says the Red Cross has three shelters open in southwest Michigan. One is at Berrien Springs Middle School, another is in St. Joseph County, and the third is in Kalamazoo County.
