The Rotary Club of St. Joseph-Benton Harbor has a new president. Rick Villa was selected for the post earlier this week, making him the chapter’s 100th president. Villa tells WSJM News he’s confident about the future of the chapter.
“We’re going to continue for another 100 years, I’m sure,” Villa said. “The Rotary Club is very strong. We have great leadership. We have great members, and there’s nothing but good things we’re going to be doing for our local community.”
Villa tells us he wants to continue the Rotary’s work, which largely focuses on helping young people get a leg up. The local Rotary will hold a big party next June to mark its 100th birthday.
