The Heritage Museum and Cultural Center in St. Joseph will be offering a haunted tour of the city this month. Saturday, October 15 will be the day for a guided walking tour of the downtown, and then a ride over to the city cemetery. Museum Curator Tracy Gierada tells WSJM News they’ll share spooky tales of the area.

“We really draw from history to talk about some of the unusual hauntings and kind of creepy, spooky things that have happened, or reportedly have happened in the past,” Gierada said.

Gierada says they’ll talk about the deadliest shipwreck in Great Lakes history and the death of poet Ben King, among other things. Anyone who wants to go on the Haunted St. Joseph Tour is asked to make a reservation by calling the Heritage Museum. Spaces are limited, and a $5 donation is requested. You can reach the Heritage and Cultural Center at 983-1191.
