When Cornerstone Chamber of Commerce leaders got together to consider who they should honor by naming an award for them, an obvious answer was Pat Moody. This week, Cornerstone Chamber announced the new Pat Moody Award as a salute to the Mid-West Family Broadcasting personality. Cornerstone Chamber President Chris Heugel says Moody has made quite the difference in southwest Michigan.
“His support of the local business community, number one, and being with the chamber of commerce for 20-plus years, his impact has been huge, and me being in this position now and trying to do what he’s done, I realize what an impact he’s made in this community,” Heugel said.
Huegel tells us the award will be given out to a business or individual based on longevity in the community, customer service, and community involvement. Cornerstone members will submit their suggestions for who should get the Pat Moody Award next month, and then it’ll be announced in February at the organization’s 2017 Business Recognition Event.
