Ride To Remember This Sunday

This Sunday brings the 16th Ride to Remember in southwest Michigan. It’s a motorcycle ride to raise money for the American Red Cross. Berrien Riders President Todd Kimball tells WSJM News registration starts at the Berrien County Courthouse at 10 a.m. and the ride begins at noon.

“It’ll go through part of Benton Harbor, Benton Township, out to Dowagiac,” Kimball said. “They’re going to have a lunch for us out there. Then we’ll come back down through Sister Lakes, go through Watervliet and Coloma, and then head back to Benton Harbor at Hidden Point.”

There, the riders will have dinner. Kimball says the ride started right after the September 11, 2001 attacks, and has been held each year since. It’s $15 to take part, and anyone with a motorcycle is welcome to come along. He’s expecting about 350 bikers.
