Drivers are being advised of a maintenance project set to get started next week on M-40 in Van Buren County. The Michigan Department of Transportation says work starts Tuesday on the road between I-94 in Paw Paw and County Road 653 in Lawton. MDOT will be doing some concrete repairs. The project will mean flag control in some areas, as well as occasional single-lane closures. The work will wrap up on Thursday, June 23. You can stay up to date on all of MDOT’s summer road projects by installing its MIDrive app. It’s available for both iPhone and Android for free.
