A Ribbon cutting will be held next week for the public to come out and see the new improvements at Union Park in Benton Harbor. The Benton Harbor Parks and Recreation Conservancy says the $459,000 project is all finished. It included the addition of a mile-long paved pathway shaped like a clover, a new Tot Lot area for preschool and elementary children, a new concession stand with dedicated bathrooms, and refurbishments at the fields, dugouts, and press box at the park. The funds were a mix of federal and state grants. The ribbon cutting to show off all of the new improvements will be held next Saturday at noon at Union Park
