Enjoying the nice weather is on everyone’s mind. That’s what thousands did Saturday during the 4th annual BBQ, Blues and Bluegrass: A Taste of Michigan. The event was held at Whirlpool Centennial Park below the bluff. It featured a variety of local restaurants serving up barbecue and live music. People from South Bend to Chicago came to attend the event.

“We love coming up here,” said Courtney Korabek of South Bend, IN. “We saw that it was a nice day finally, and we love good music.”

“Enjoying the great weather, the lake, the great music, great beer,” said Todd Nudelman of Chicago.

The original headliner, Jonny Lang, had to cancel due to complications with his wife’s pregnancy, but that didn’t stop people from attending.
