Road construction season is heating up in Van Buren County, as the Michigan Department of Transpiration will begin 2 projects next week. The first will be on M-43 in Almena Township. MDOT will be resurfacing the road and doing some shoulder work between Walden Way and Van Kal Street. The project will mean single lane closures and traffic regulators. Also starting Tuesday is a road resurfacing and shoulder project on M-40 just north of Paw Paw. There will be single lane closures between M-43 and Power Plant Road while the work is done. Both projects are slated to wrap up on Friday, June 24.
