The Michigan Department of Transportation says a road closure is now in effect in Benton Harbor, and will remain so through Friday. Crystal Avenue north of the I-94 Business Loop has been shut down. Crews are working on some sewer lines. MDOT says there is a detour posted taking drivers on to Territorial Road, North Euclid Avenue, and Highland Avenue.
