Virtual Tours Of MI Capitol Now Available

For those who can’t make it to the Michigan Capitol for a tour, a virtual tour is now up and running on the state website. Michigan Capitol Commission member John Truscott says it’s not only fun, it’s educational, with clickable items providing historical information.

“Out in the hall, you can see these plus signs, you can click on and get a description of everything that’s in the building,” Truscott said. “So, for history purposes, it’s pretty remarkable.”

The tour begins with the participant gliding in through the front door. Multi-view, fully moveable video is also availableon the tour. You can take one at capitol.michigan.gov.
