Snow Unlikely For Christmas Morning

If you’re dreaming of a white Christmas, you’re likely going to be disappointed. WNDU Meteorologist David Harker says, thanks to El Nino, snow is almost certainly not going to be on the ground Christmas morning.

“Usually, by this point, we’d should have easily over a foot of snow, and some locations just have not seen that,” Harker told WSJM. “It’s the El Nino pattern everyone keeps talking about, bringing in the warmer than normal air to here in the Midwest.”

Harker isn’t expecting any snow accumulation until the first few weeks of January. Highs are expected to remain in the 50s for the rest of the weekend.
