Michigan's Average Gas Price Drops Under $2

Michigan’s average gas price is below $2 a gallon to start a week for the first time since January. Triple-A Michigan’s latest survey of stations around the state finds a 23¢ drop from last week and an average price of $1.94 per gallon according to spokeswoman Susan Hiltz.

The lowest average price is in Flint at $1.84, while Marquette drivers have the highest price at $2.06. Prices in St. Joseph and Benton Harbor are averaging $1.89 according to Triple-A. GasBuddy spotters have South Haven’s average price at $1.75. The last time the state average was under $2 a gallon was on January 5th.
