Police in Niles are working to find the suspect in five local armed robberies that they believe are related. The department says that the robberies occurred between September 23rd and October fifth, and were at the Bell Plaza Liquor store, Sunrise Corners Liquor, Lenny’s Gas Station, and the Admiral Gas Station on Oak Street, which was robbed twice between October third and fifth. Video surveillance from all the robberies show a heavy set white male brandishing either of knife or handgun at different times. Detectives believe that the same suspect may be responsible for all five incidents. Anyone with information on the crimes is asked to contact Niles Police, who are being assisted in the investigation by Michigan State Police, and the Berrien and Cass County Sheriffs Departments.
