A southwest Michigan native is one of two Americans killed in the crash of a British Royal Air Force helicopter in Kabul, Afghanistan on Sunday. The Pentagon has not released information about any American deaths, but family members have confirmed on social media that U.S. Air Force Master Sergeant Greg Kuhse died when the helicopter crashed while landing. According to British military officials, the crash was “an accident and not the result of insurgent activity.” Kuhse was a 1995 graduate of Comstock High School near Kalamazoo, enlisted in the Air Force in 1996, and was stationed at Scott Air Force Base in Illinois.
