Gas Prices Up 7¢ Around State

It’s probably going to come as no surprise thanks to Wednesday’s jump at the pump, but we are paying more to fill up to start our week. According to the latest survey from Triple-A Michigan, the state’s average price is $2.34, up 7¢ from last week. The average in the Benton Harbor-St. Joseph area is a little lower at $2.31, but our prices are still higher than a week ago by 11¢ per gallon. Triple-A says the lowest prices are in Marquette at $2.24 and the highest prices are in Ann Arbor at $2.37. South Haven drivers are paying an average of $2.27 according to GasBuddy, as the Van Buren County city isn’t included in Triple-A’s survey.
