A special task force is investigating at least six incidents of vehicles being hit by bullets on I-94 and I-69 in Calhoun and Branch counties dating back to late July. Calhoun County Sheriff Matt Saxton believes the shootings were intentional.

No one has been hurt, and most of the shootings have happened during the day. Police have not determined if the shooter is firing from inside a vehicle or from the side of the road. The shootings have been reported on I-94 between 11 Mile Road and I-69 near Battle Creek and on I-69 between M-60 and Jonesville Road in Branch County.
