LMC President Search Continues

Leaders at Lake Michigan College hope to have a new president selected by the end of November. Board of Trustees Chair Mary Jo Tomasini says that they’ve received 29 applications to replace the retiring Doctor Bob Harrison so far, and the college’s search firm expects to get plenty more by the September 14th deadline.

Tomasini says that the plan is to start interviewing some applicants in October, and with luck, they will have selected Doctor Harrison’s replacement the next month. Harrison announced in March that he’d be stepping down at the end of the year after serving as LMC president since 2009.
