With the BP refinery in Whiting, Indiana now back up and running, it’s expected that gas prices around the Midwest will start to go back down. In fact, GasBuddy’s Patrick DeHaan says that they already have been declining in Michigan.

DeHaan says that, if you can, you should hold off on filling up the tank, and give the price a chance to go down a little more. The BP refinery went down over two weeks ago, leading to a quick jump in gas prices around the region.
