The BP refinery had a major issue earlier this month that shot wholesale prices higher by over 90-cents a gallon, resulting in gas stations increasing the prices we pay to the $3 neighborhood. DeHaan has predicted gas prices will be under $2 per gallon this fall and winter if nothing goes wrong to disrupt the supply and the markets.
