The Benton Harbor Board of Education on Tuesday voted to turn over the investigative report on suspended Superintendent Doctor Leonard Seawood to legal authorities. That’s after Seawood was suspended in early May with trustees only saying that Seawood was under investigation by district attorneys. A resolution to release the results of that probe to law enforcement was approved during a special meeting Tuesday night before the meeting was abruptly adjourned. Board members would not comment, and did not specify why the report was being released to police.
