The sentencing for a former Saint Joseph High School teacher and soccer coach accused of sex with a student has been postponed. Lauren Hill had been scheduled to be sentenced on Monday in Berrien County court, but the proceeding was adjourned until July 17th. The 26 year old Hill is facing two counts of second degree criminal sexual conduct for having an affair with a student under 16 year old. She pleaded guilty in May, and faces up to 15 years in prison. Hill resigned from her position with Saint Joseph Schools shortly after the affair was reported by the student’s parents.
