The Queen’s Cup, which will be in its 78th year next year, will arrive in Saint Joseph in early June. This year, the race ended in South Haven, and Engel says it had 155 participants make it there. They created quite the crowd and were a boost to businesses in the area, as each yacht typically has a crew of seven or eight people. Engel says that the Saint Joseph River Yacht Club is being quite accomodating to the Queen’s Cup organizers.
