Gas Prices Expected To Go Down This Weekend

If you’re headed off for a quick vacation this Fourth of July weekend, you can expect the situation at the gas pump to get a little better before the holiday is over. Gas Buddy’s Patrick HeHaan says that some refinery issues caused the whole sale price to go up this week, but that appears to be improving.

The average price for a gallon of gas as of late Thursday afternoon in Saint Joseph was 2.95. DeHaan says there is good news, though. Gas this weekend is expected to be a cheapest it’s been in Michigan during the Fourth of July since 2009.
